I. General Requirements
1. System Type: Single Quadrupole GC-MS System
2. Applications: Forensic medicine, toxicology, and chemical analysis
II. Gas Chromatography (GC) Module
1. Temperature Range (Oven): At least 50°C to 350°C.
2. Column Compatibility: At least two capillary columns (preferably a dual-line system)
3. Flow Control: Advanced Flow Controller (AFC) with constant pressure, flow, and rate modes.
4. Inlet Maintenance: Instrument-free inlet maintenance system (e.g., ClickTek™ or similar)
III. Mass Spectrometry (MS) Module
1. Mass Analyzer: Single quadrupole with a front rod and metal quadrupole.
2. Mass Range: At least 1.5 to 1,090 m/z.
3- Measurable FWHM: 0.4 to 2.0 μm
4- Ionization Modes: Electron Ionization (EI), Chemical Ionization (CI), and Negative CI (NCI).
5- Scan Speed: Minimum 20,000 u/s (or equivalent high-speed scanning capability).
6- Simultaneous Modes: Simultaneous Scan/SIM Mode for dual qualitative and quantitative analysis.
7- Molecular Ion Detection: Quick-CI function or equivalent.
IV. Vacuum System
1- Pump Type: High-capacity turbomolecular pump.
2- Carrier Gas Compatibility: Helium, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen.
3- Differential Exhaust System: Must support stable operation with all the above gases.
V. Software and Data Processing, Workstation
1- Control Software: Integrated software for full GC-MS control and data analysis. 2- Features: Smart SIM™, automatic method generation, real-time analysis, customizable reports.
3- Data Export: Must support standard formats (e.g., CSV, Excel, NetCDF, etc.).
4- A dedicated workstation must be provided with the following minimum specifications: Intel Core i7 or higher, 16 GB or higher, 1 TB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, 1920x1080 28” Full HD Display, plus additional USB for peripherals and Microsoft Office (for reports), PDF viewer, and antivirus.
VI- The bidder must include a price list of all required consumables in their bid.
